google search "6.7 Coffee Table Book". page 79 shows where they are along the frame/DPF. If i remember correctly Bank 1, Sensor 2 is between the DOC and SCR. it would be the second sensor from the front (front being where the down pipe flange is). 2012 F250 Lariat CCSB SRW: H&S XRT w/ Gearheads tunes, Edge CTS, 5" FLO PRO DP Back w/ Muffler. A couple of weeks ago it came up with engine malfunction on solidly. The car still drives normally. I went to the garage and it said exhaust not hot enough for regen and throttle position sensor. A dpf problem seemed unlightly as my car lives on the motorway and after the light came on it spent 2 hrs at 75mph.
On some '01 foci, the DPFE sensor is a more squarish black box with a 3-wire plug in the top and 2 hoses coming off the bottom, it sits almost on top of the EGR pipe, and is located somewhat under the air intake tube. It also connects to the EGR pipe via rubber hoses, but the hoses just stand straight up and they're short.
Coming from a Mondeo MK5, I half expected the S-Max to give me some useful info on DPF_Load & DPF_Soot, however it can only give me the weight of soot. I have no idea what is good, bad or indifferent. At least it could give me the Differential Pressure, but again, not sure if the figure is telling me the DP sensor is blocked. Step 1: Press the brake 1 time. Step 2: Switch the ignition on/off 3 times (end with the ignition on). Step 3: Press the brake 1 time. Step 4: Switch the ignition on/off 3 times (end with the ignition on). Now the horn will sound which indicates that the TPMS system is in learning mode. Once in learning mode a Ford TPMS tool is needed.

Two of the codes related to partial blocked DPF and the others the DPF pressure sensor. So the faulty pressure sensor was the reason the car was not self cleaning the DPF. The pressure sensor is located adjacent to the car battery so was an easy DIY fix. I bought one online for £35 and fitted it in 20 mins. Ford charge over £200 for the part
A DPFE sensor is a vehicle sensor that senses the gas pressure passing through the EGR system of the vehicle and transfers this information to the PCM. The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) utilizes this data to control the EGR sensor, the EGR valve, and some other functions to maximize the engine performance and minimize the emission rate. aGwk1.
