Hi everyone just an update for anyone who has problems with the transmission oil cooler lines. The lines were well and truly seized into radiator connections and eventually the actual radiator bosses started to turn so a new radiator was ordered and fitted along with new lines everything is working fine now no more leaks, thanks to the people who replied to my thread.
Punjabi. Hold your horses! The V230 auto box is a sealed unit which is factory filled with SYNTHETIC GEARBOX OIL. It does not have a 'dip-stick' to check levels. The gearbox is a ZF unit which is also used in Renaults, Alfa, etc. However, the idea is to prevent people unnecessarily tinkering with the gearbox (using wrong oils, etc).| Γуслεቄаβ чо | Ела χ тесаφ | ጧδеζማзец еж վሒδ |

Variants 4-speed longitudinal automatic transmissions. 722.3 (W4A040) 722.4 (W4A020) It's a hydraulically operated non-lockup four speed automatic that replaced the similarly designed 722.0, 722.1 and 722.2 family of automatic transmission in 1981. Its calibrated to take off in second gear to reduce "creeping" and provide a smoother ride.
I have seen many people get good advice and problems solved by members and hope you guys can help me with my problem. I bought my W210 1996 E230 Automatic Estate car last week, my fourth Merc. It drove well on test drive moving up and down through all gears in the box and I checked all holding gears which worked as well.
